17The servant ran to meet her, and said, "Please give me a drink, a little water from your pitcher."

19When she had done giving him drink, she said, "I will also draw for your camels, until they have done drinking."
20She hurried, and emptied her pitcher into the trough, and ran again to the well to draw, and drew for all his camels.
21The man looked steadfastly at her, holding his peace, to know whether Yahweh had made his journey prosperous or not.
8If the woman isn't willing to follow you, then you shall be clear from this my oath. Only you shall not bring my son there again."
18When she saw that she was steadfastly minded to go with her, she left off speaking to her.

13Stay this night, and it shall be in the morning, that if he will perform to you the part of a kinsman, well; let him do the kinsman's part: but if he will not do the part of a kinsman to you, then will I do the part of a kinsman to you, as Yahweh lives: lie down until the morning.
14She lay at his feet until the morning. She rose up before one could discern another. For he said, Let it not be known that the woman came to the threshing floor.
51Behold, Rebekah is before you, take her, and go, and let her be your master's son's wife, as Yahweh has spoken."
18Then said she, "Sit still, my daughter, until you know how the matter will fall; for the man will not rest, until he has finished the thing this day."
