13 You who have purer eyes than to see evil, and who cannot look on perversity, why do you tolerate those who deal treacherously, and keep silent when the wicked swallows up the man who is more righteous than he,
14 and make men like the fish of the sea, like the creeping things, that have no ruler over them?

26 They will perish, but you will endure. Yes, all of them will wear out like a garment. You will change them like a cloak, and they will be changed.
27 But you are the same. Your years will have no end.

12 As a mantle you will roll them up, And they will be changed; But you are the same. Your years will not fail."

4 Don't you know this from old time, Since man was placed on earth,

24 Yahweh, correct me, but in measure: not in your anger, lest you bring me to nothing.
5 Seeing his days are determined, The number of his months is with you, And you have appointed his bounds that he can't pass;

6 That you inquire after my iniquity, And search after my sin?
3 If you, Yah, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?

5 Isn't your wickedness great? Neither is there any end to your iniquities.
7 Nevertheless you shall die like men, And fall like one of the rulers."
3 Why do you show me iniquity, and look at perversity? For destruction and violence are before me. There is strife, and contention rises up.
18 Yah has punished me severely, But he has not given me over to death.
11 Of whom have you been afraid and in fear, that you lie, and have not remembered me, nor laid it to your heart? Haven't I held my peace even of long time, and you don't fear me?
