5Go, and tell Hezekiah, Thus says Yahweh, the God of David your father, I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears: behold, I will add to your days fifteen years.
6I will deliver you and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city.
7This shall be the sign to you from Yahweh, that Yahweh will do this thing that he has spoken:

20Thus did Hezekiah throughout all Judah; and he worked that which was good and right and faithful before Yahweh his God.

14Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it; and Hezekiah went up to the house of Yahweh, and spread it before Yahweh.
15Hezekiah prayed to Yahweh, saying,
8Hezekiah said to Isaiah, What shall be the sign that Yahweh will heal me, and that I shall go up to the house of Yahweh the third day?
9Isaiah said, This shall be the sign to you from Yahweh, that Yahweh will do the thing that he has spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten steps, or go back ten steps?
32Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and his good deeds, behold, they are written in the vision of Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz, in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.
6I will add to your days fifteen years; and I will deliver you and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for my own sake, and for my servant David's sake.
10Thus shall you speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Don't let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying, Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.

5So the servants of king Hezekiah came to Isaiah.
6Isaiah said to them, Thus shall you tell your master, Thus says Yahweh, Don't be afraid of the words that you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.

5So the servants of king Hezekiah came to Isaiah.
6Isaiah said to them, Thus shall you tell your master, Thus says Yahweh, Don't be afraid of the words that you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.
7Of your sons who shall issue from you, whom you shall father, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.
8For my brothers' and companions' sakes, I will now say, "Peace be within you."
8When Hezekiah and the princes came and saw the heaps, they blessed Yahweh, and his people Israel.
3You will keep [him] in perfect peace, [whose] mind [is] stayed [on you]; because he trusts in you.
14Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it; and Hezekiah went up to the house of Yahweh, and spread it before Yahweh.
3They said to him, Thus says Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and of rejection; for the children have come to the birth, and there is no strength to bring forth.
15Hezekiah gave [him] all the silver that was found in the house of Yahweh, and in the treasures of the king's house.
28Now, O Lord Yahweh, you are God, and your words are truth, and you have promised this good thing to your servant:
6Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them; and I will reveal to them abundance of peace and truth.
10Then said I, Ah, Lord Yahweh! surely you have greatly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, You shall have peace; whereas the sword reaches to the life.
18My people shall abide in a peaceable habitation, and in safe dwellings, and in quiet resting-places.
5Yahweh spoke to me yet again, saying,
19Rabshakeh said to them, Say you now to Hezekiah, Thus says the great king, the king of Assyria, What confidence is this in which you trust?
11They have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.
7But if you tell me, We trust in Yahweh our God: isn't that he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah has taken away, and has said to Judah and to Jerusalem, You shall worship before this altar?
15so again have I thought in these days to do good to Jerusalem and to the house of Judah. Don't be afraid.
