1 The word which came to Jeremiah from Yahweh, saying,
2 Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause you to hear my words.

25 I have raised up one from the north, and he has come; from the rising of the sun one who calls on my name: and he shall come on rulers as on mortar, and as the potter treads clay.
9 You shall break them with a rod of iron. You shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel."
5 Behold, when it was whole, it was meet for no work: how much less, when the fire has devoured it, and it is burned, shall it yet be meet for any work!
