8For as often as I speak, I cry out; I cry, Violence and destruction! because the word of Yahweh is made a reproach to me, and a derision, all the day.
7But now, God, you have surely worn me out. You have made desolate all my company.

19Yahweh, I cry to you, For the fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness, And the flame has burned all the trees of the field.

6They have prepared a net for my steps. My soul is bowed down. They dig a pit before me. They fall into the midst of it themselves. Selah.

18Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, which refuses to be healed? will you indeed be to me as a deceitful [brook], as waters that fail?
8He has walled up my way so that I can't pass, And has set darkness in my paths.
9He has stripped me of my glory, And taken the crown from my head.
15What shall I say? he has both spoken to me, and himself has done it: I shall go softly all my years because of the bitterness of my soul.
18Oh that I could comfort myself against sorrow! my heart is faint within me.
