1And we make known to you, brethren, the grace of God, that hath been given in the assemblies of Macedonia,
2because in much trial of tribulation the abundance of their joy, and their deep poverty, did abound to the riches of their liberality;

12because the ministration of this service not only is supplying the wants of the saints, but is also abounding through many thanksgivings to God,
13through the proof of this ministration glorifying God for the subjection of your confession to the good news of the Christ, and `for' the liberality of the fellowship to them and to all,
14and by their supplication in your behalf, longing after you because of the exceeding grace of God upon you;
11and now also finish doing `it', that even as `there is' the readiness of the will, so also the finishing, out of that which ye have,
12for if the willing mind is present, according to that which any one may have it is well-accepted, not according to that which he hath not;
13for not that for others release, and ye pressured, `do I speak,'
14but by equality, at the present time your abundance -- for their want, that also their abundance may be for your want, that there may be equality,
15according as it hath been written, `He who `did gather' much, had nothing over; and he who `did gather' little, had no lack.'
26for it pleased Macedonia and Achaia well to make a certain contribution for the poor of the saints who `are' in Jerusalem;
27for it pleased well, and their debtors they are, for if in their spiritual things the nations did participate, they ought also, in the fleshly things, to minister to them.
8other assemblies I did rob, having taken wages, for your ministration;
9and being present with you, and having been in want, I was chargeable to no one, for my lack did the brethren supply -- having come from Macedonia -- and in everything burdenless to you I did keep myself, and will keep.
1For, indeed, concerning the ministration that `is' for the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you,
2for I have known your readiness of mind, which in your behalf I boast of to Macedonians, that Achaia hath been prepared a year ago, and the zeal of you did stir up the more part,
3and I sent the brethren, that our boasting on your behalf may not be made vain in this respect; that, according as I said, ye may be ready,
19and not only so, but who was also appointed by vote by the assemblies, our fellow-traveller, with this favour that is ministered by us, unto the glory of the same Lord, and your willing mind;
20avoiding this, lest any one may blame us in this abundance that is ministered by us,
17because indeed the exhortation he accepted, and being more diligent, of his own accord he went forth unto you,
5Necessary, therefore, I thought `it' to exhort the brethren, that they may go before to you, and may make up before your formerly announced blessing, that this be ready, as a blessing, and not as covetousness.
10only, of the poor that we should be mindful, which also I was diligent -- this very thing -- to do.
7each one, according as he doth purpose in heart, not out of sorrow or out of necessity, for a cheerful giver doth God love,
8and God `is' able all grace to cause to abound to you, that in every thing always all sufficiency having, ye may abound to every good work,
29and the disciples, according as any one was prospering, determined each of them to send for ministration to the brethren dwelling in Judea,
4great `is' my freedom of speech unto you, great my glory on your behalf; I have been filled with the comfort, I overabound with the joy on all our tribulation,
8so being desirous of you, we are well-pleased to impart to you not only the good news of God, but also our own souls, because beloved ye have become to us,
15and I most gladly will spend and be entirely spent for your souls, even if, more abundantly loving you, less I am loved.
24the shewing therefore of your love, and of our boasting on your behalf, to them shew ye, even in the face of the assemblies.
8nor for nought did we eat bread of any one, but in labour and in travail, night and day working, not to be chargeable to any of you;
9not because we have not authority, but that ourselves a pattern we might give to you, to imitate us;
11ye working together also for us by your supplication, that the gift through many persons to us, through many may be thankfully acknowledged for us.
14and apart from thy mind I willed to do nothing, that as of necessity thy good deed may not be, but of willingness,
8Wherefore, having in Christ much boldness to command thee that which is fit --
8For we do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, of our tribulation that happened to us in Asia, that we were exceedingly burdened above `our' power, so that we despaired even of life;
3and whenever I may come, whomsoever ye may approve, through letters, these I will send to carry your favour to Jerusalem;
8for from you hath sounded forth the word of the Lord, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith toward God did go forth, so that we have no need to say anything,
16because also in Thessalonica, both once and again to my need ye sent;
17not that I seek after the gift, but I seek after the fruit that is overflowing to your account;
34and ye yourselves know that to my necessities, and to those who were with me, minister did these hands;
9for, for this also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether in regard to all things ye are obedient.
6who did testify of thy love before an assembly, whom thou wilt do well, having sent forward worthily of God,
7because for `His' name they went forth, nothing receiving from the nations;
8For God is my witness, how I long for you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ,
