14according as also ye did acknowledge us in part, that your glory we are, even as also ye `are' ours, in the day of the Lord Jesus;
15and in this confidence I was purposing to come unto you before, that a second favour ye might have,
16and through you to pass to Macedonia, and again from Macedonia to come unto you, and by you to be sent forward to Judea.
9and being present with you, and having been in want, I was chargeable to no one, for my lack did the brethren supply -- having come from Macedonia -- and in everything burdenless to you I did keep myself, and will keep.
10The truth of Christ is in me, because this boasting shall not be stopped in regard to me in the regions of Achaia;
1And we make known to you, brethren, the grace of God, that hath been given in the assemblies of Macedonia,
2because in much trial of tribulation the abundance of their joy, and their deep poverty, did abound to the riches of their liberality;
3because, according to `their' power, I testify, and above `their' power, they were willing of themselves,
8not according to command do I speak, but because of the diligence of others, and of your love proving the genuineness,
8Wherefore, having in Christ much boldness to command thee that which is fit --
24the shewing therefore of your love, and of our boasting on your behalf, to them shew ye, even in the face of the assemblies.
19and not only so, but who was also appointed by vote by the assemblies, our fellow-traveller, with this favour that is ministered by us, unto the glory of the same Lord, and your willing mind;
4great `is' my freedom of speech unto you, great my glory on your behalf; I have been filled with the comfort, I overabound with the joy on all our tribulation,
21having been confident in thy obedience I did write to thee, having known that also above what I may say thou wilt do;
15not boasting of the things not measured, in other men's labours, and having hope -- your faith increasing -- in you to be enlarged, according to our line -- into abundance,
16in the `places' beyond you to proclaim good news, not in another's line in regard to the things made ready, to boast;
25and of this being persuaded, I have known that I shall remain and continue with you all, to your advancement and joy of the faith,
26that your boasting may abound in Christ Jesus in me through my presence again to you.
13through the proof of this ministration glorifying God for the subjection of your confession to the good news of the Christ, and `for' the liberality of the fellowship to them and to all,
9for, for this also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether in regard to all things ye are obedient.
17because indeed the exhortation he accepted, and being more diligent, of his own accord he went forth unto you,
16I rejoice, therefore, that in everything I have courage in you.
12for not again ourselves do we recommend to you, but we are giving occasion to you of glorifying in our behalf, that ye may have `something' in reference to those glorifying in face and not in heart;
10And I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at length ye flourished again in caring for me, for which also ye were caring, and lacked opportunity;
14because if anything to him in your behalf I have boasted, I was not put to shame; but as all things in truth we did speak to you, so also our boasting before Titus became truth,
11for, lo, this same thing -- your being made sorry toward God -- how much diligence it doth work in you! but defence, but displeasure, but fear, but longing desire, but zeal, but revenge; in every thing ye did approve yourselves to be pure in the matter.
17and the other out of love, having known that for defence of the good news I am set:
13And I do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, that many times I did purpose to come unto you -- and was hindered till the present time -- that some fruit I might have also among you, even as also among the other nations.
17and I rejoice over the presence of Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus, because the lack of you did these fill up;
5for I reckon that I have been nothing behind the very chiefest apostles,
12For our glorying is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom, but in the grace of God, we did conduct ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you;
3and I wrote to you this same thing, that having come, I may not have sorrow from them of whom it behoved me to have joy, having confidence in you all, that my joy is of you all,
4so that we ourselves do glory in you in the assemblies of God, for your endurance and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye bear;
5because of this also, I, no longer forbearing, did send to know your faith, lest he who is tempting did tempt you, and in vain might be our labour.
15so, as much as in me is, I am ready also to you who `are' in Rome to proclaim good news,
22and we sent with them our brother, whom we proved in many things many times being diligent, and now much more diligent, by the great confidence that is toward you,
5for your contribution to the good news from the first day till now,
2for I bear them testimony that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge,
14and the greater part of the brethren in the Lord, having confidence by my bonds, are more abundantly bold -- fearlessly to speak the word.

2but having both suffered before, and having been injuriously treated (as ye have known) in Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the good news of God in much conflict,
19For I have known that this shall fall out to me for salvation, through your supplication, and the supply of the Spirit of Christ Jesus,
