2in this we know that we love the children of God, when we may love God, and His commands may keep;
15See, then, how exactly ye walk, not as unwise, but as wise,
5all ye are sons of light, and sons of day; we are not of night, nor of darkness,

12for your walking worthily of God, who is calling you to His own reign and glory.
20in behalf of Christ, then, we are ambassadors, as if God were calling through us, we beseech, in behalf of Christ, `Be ye reconciled to God;'
1See ye what love the Father hath given to us, that children of God we may be called; because of this the world doth not know us, because it did not know Him;
2beloved, now, children of God are we, and it was not yet manifested what we shall be, and we have known that if he may be manifested, like him we shall be, because we shall see him as he is;
17because of this become not fools, but -- understanding what `is' the will of the Lord,
20the children! obey the parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing to the Lord;
5having foreordained us to the adoption of sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,
1Call upon you, then, do I -- the prisoner of the Lord -- to walk worthily of the calling with which ye were called,
15that ye may become blameless and harmless, children of God, unblemished in the midst of a generation crooked and perverse, among whom ye do appear as luminaries in the world,
6He who is saying in him he doth remain, ought according as he walked also himself so to walk.
22Your souls having purified in the obedience of the truth through the Spirit to brotherly love unfeigned, out of a pure heart one another love ye earnestly,

5For, let this mind be in you that `is' also in Christ Jesus,
21subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of God.
