Og Herren talte til Moses og sa,

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Tal til Israels barn, og si til dem at de skal bringe meg en offergave: hos hver mann som gir villig av sitt hjerte, skal dere ta min offergave.

Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering.

Og dette er offergaven dere skal ta fra dem: gull, sølv og kobber,

And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass,

og blått, purpur, skarlagenrødt garn, fint lin og geitehår,

And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair,

rødfargede værskinn, delfinskinn og akasietre,

And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood,

olje til lampene, krydder til salvingsoljen og velluktende røkelse,

Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense,

onyksteiner og innfattede stener til efoden og brystskjoldet.

Onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate.

De skal lage en helligdom for meg, slik at jeg kan bo blant dem.

And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.

Alt dette skal dere gjøre etter det jeg viser deg, etter mønsteret av tabernaklet og mønsteret av alle redskapene der.

According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.

De skal lage en ark av akasietre: to og en halv alen lang, en og en halv alen bred og en og en halv alen høy.

And they shall make an ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.

Du skal dekke den med rent gull, både innvendig og utvendig, og lage en krans av gull rundt om.

And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about.

Du skal støpe fire gullringer til den og sette dem i de fire hjørnene, to ringer på den ene siden og to ringer på den andre siden.

And thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four corners thereof; and two rings shall be in the one side of it, and two rings in the other side of it.

Du skal lage bærestenger av akasietre, og du skal dekke dem med gull.

And thou shalt make staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold.

Du skal sette bærestengene inn i ringene på siden av arken, slik at arken kan bæres med dem.

And thou shalt put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.

Stengene skal være i ringene på arken; de skal ikke tas ut.

The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it.

Du skal legge vitnesbyrdet som jeg skal gi deg, inn i arken.

And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee.

Du skal lage et nådestol av rent gull, to og en halv alen lang og en og en halv alen bred.

And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.

Og du skal lage to kjeruber av gull, i hamret arbeid skal du lage dem, på begge endene av nådestolen.

And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat.

Lag en kjerub på den ene enden og en kjerub på den andre enden; dere skal lage kjerubene på begge endene av nådestolen.

And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof.

Kjerubene skal løfte sine vinger oppover og dekke nådestolen med sine vinger, og ansiktene deres skal vende mot hverandre; kjerubenes ansikter skal vende mot nådestolen.

And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.

Du skal sette nådestolen på toppen av arken, og i arken skal du legge vitnesbyrdet som jeg skal gi deg.

And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.

Der vil jeg møte deg, og jeg vil tale med deg fra over nådestolen, fra mellom de to kjerubene som er over vitnesbyrdets ark, alt det som jeg vil befale deg angående Israels barn.

And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.

Du skal også lage et bord av akasietre, to alen langt, en alen bredt og en og en halv alen høyt.

Thou shalt also make a table of shittim wood: two cubits shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.

Du skal dekke det med rent gull og lage en krans av gull rundt.

And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make thereto a crown of gold round about.

Du skal lage en kant rundt det, en hånds bredde høy, og rundt kanten en krans av gull.

And thou shalt make unto it a border of an hand breadth round about, and thou shalt make a golden crown to the border thereof round about.

Du skal lage fire gullringer til det og sette ringene i de fire hjørnene som er ved føttene.

And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that are on the four feet thereof.

Ringene skal være like overfor kanten, som plass for bærestengene til å bære bordet.

Over against the border shall the rings be for places of the staves to bear the table.

Bærestengene skal du lage av akasietre og dekke dem med gull, slik at bordet bæres med dem.

And thou shalt make the staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be borne with them.

Og du skal lage tallerkener, boller, vinkanner og skåler til å helle i, av rent gull skal du lage dem.

And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and spoons thereof, and covers thereof, and bowls thereof, to cover withal: of pure gold shalt thou make them.

Og på bordet skal du alltid legge skuebrødet for meg.

And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me alway.

Du skal lage en lysestake av rent gull. Lysestaken skal lages i hamret arbeid: dens skaft, grener, skåler, knopper og blomster skal være ett stykke.

And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same.

Seks grener skal gå ut fra sidene: tre grener av lysestaken på den ene siden, og tre grener på den andre siden.

And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side:

Tre skåler laget som mandelblomster med knopp og blomst på hver gren, og det skal være slik på alle seks grenene som går ut fra lysestaken.

Three bowls made like unto almonds, with a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick.

På selve lysestaken skal det være fire skåler gjort som mandelblomster med knopper og blomster.

And in the candlestick shall be four bowls made like unto almonds, with their knops and their flowers.

Det skal være en knopp under to grener av lysestaken, en knopp under to av grenene, og en knopp under to av grenene, i alt seks grener som går ut fra lysestaken.

And there shall be a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches that proceed out of the candlestick.

Knoppene og grenene skal være ett stykke med hele lysestaken, i én hamret arbeid av rent gull.

Their knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it shall be one beaten work of pure gold.

Du skal lage syv lamper til den, og de skal tennes slik at de lyser fremover.

And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may give light over against it.

Vekesakser og brikke, alt skal være av rent gull.

And the tongs thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, shall be of pure gold.

Av én talent rent gull skal det lages, med alle disse redskapene.

Of a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels.

Vær nøye med at du lager dem etter den modellen som ble vist deg på fjellet.

And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.
