እዚ ሕጊ እዞም ዕለታት ፑሪም ኣብ ዝተመርመረሎም ግዜ ንምዕጋጋም ኣረጋገጠ፤ ከም ማርዶክዮስ ይሁዳዊን ኤስቴር ንግስቲን ዝኣዘዙሎም እና ከም እሱኦም ንነሱኦምን ንዘርኦምን ዝፈለጡ ጉዳያት ጾምን ጩኸታቶምን ስለ ዝወራዱ።

    19ስለዚ ይሁዳውያን ዝነበሩ ብመንደራት፣ ኣብ ዘይብሉ ግድግዳ ከተማታት ብዓሰርተ-ኣርባዕተ መዓልቲ ወርሒ ኣዳር ዕለተ ፍስሓን ቀንዲ መእተዊን ዕለተ ጥራይ ያደርጉ፣ ንሓድ ንሓድ ክፍሊ መግቢ ይላኡ።

    20ማርዶክዮስ እነዚ ነገራት ጻሒፈ መልእኽቲ ላአ ንይሁዳውያን ኩሉ ዘሎም ኣብ ክልልታት ንጉሥ ኣሐሱሮስ ቅርብን ርሑቕን።

    21እዞም ነገራት ኣብ ኦም ክትትግበሩ ክኸውን ብምዕጋጋም ኣዋጁ፤ ዕለታት ብዓሰርተ-ኣርባዕተን ብዓሰርተ-ሓሙሽተን ወርሒ ኣዳር ዓመት ዓመት ክዕብሩኣት ከሎም ይኹን።

    22እንተዘይ ይሁዳውያን ካብ ጠላታቶም ዝረፉ ዕለታት እዮም እንተኾነ፣ እቲ ወርሒ ሓዘን ንፍስሓ ዝተለወጠ፣ እቲ ዝልቦ ኣክሊል ናብ ዕለት ጥራይ ዝተለወጠ፤ እቲ ዕለታት ቀንዲ መእተዊን ደስታን ክዕብሩኣት፣ ንሓድ ንሓድ ክፍሊ መግቢ ክላኡ፣ ስጦታታት ንደኾር ክሰግዱ።

    23ይሁዳውያን ከም ዝጀመሩ እና ማርዶክዮስ ዝጻሒፈሎም እንተ እዩ ምስ ሰለፉ ክገብሩ ተስማሙ።

    24ምክንያቱ ሐማን ወዲ ሓመዳታ ኣጋጋዊ፣ ጠላይ ይሁዳውያን ኩሉ፣ ንምስካርኦም ኣሕሊ ሓሳብ ኣወሰነን ፑር ዝተባህለ ዝኾነ ጣራ (ሎት) ጣረ ንምውስዳኦምን ንምስካርኦምን።

    25ግን ኤስቴር ምስ ተቀረበት በፊት ንንጉሥ፣ ንሱ ብመልእኽቲ ኣዘዘ እቲ ክፉዕ ምክር ንይሁዳውያን ዝሓሰበ ከም ዝነበረ ንራእሱ ራስ ክመልስ፣ እሱን ወዲኦምን ኣብ ዓምዲ ክተንጥቁ ከለና።

    26ስለዚ እዞም ዕለታት ብስም ፑር ፑሪም ተባሂሉ። ስለ ቃላት እዚ መልእኽቲ ኩሉን፣ ስለ ነገር እዚ ዝራአዮምን ስለ ዝመጸሎም ማለት ኩሉን፣

    27ይሁዳውያን እቲ ነገር ኣዋጁ ተቐብለዮም፣ ኣብ ነሱን ኣብ ዘርኦምን ኣብ ምእንቲ ምተጋደሉ ከምርእሶም ዝሃቡ ሰባት ላዕሊኦም ምስ ሰለፉ—ክምትሓት ዘይኮነ—እዞም ክልተ ዕለታት እንተ ጽሑፋትኦም እንተ ዝተመርመረሎም ግዜ ዓመት ዓመት ክዕብሩኣት ክህኑ ኣዋጁ።

    28እዞም ዕለታት ክትተኽእሉን ክትጠብቁን ኣብ ድሕሪ ድሕር ትውልድ፣ ኣብ ኤዋ ቤተሰብ፣ ኣብ ኤዋ ክልል፣ ኣብ ኤዋ ከተማ ክህኑ፤ ዕለታት ፑሪም ካብ መካነ ይሁዳውያን ክትብል ዘይክእልን፣ ምዝክርኦም ካብ ዘርኦም ክደመ ዘይክእልን ክኸውን ኣዋጁ።

    29ኤስቴር ንግስቲ ወዲት ኣቢሃይልን ማርዶክዮስ ይሁዳዊን ብኹሉ ሓላፍነት ጻሒፉ እዚ ክልተኛ መልእኽቲ ፑሪም ንምዕጋጋም።

    30እሱ መልእኽቲ ላአ ንይሁዳውያን ኩሉ ኣብ ሓደ መቶ ዕስራን ሸውዓተን ክልልታት መንግሥቲ ኣሐሱሮስ ብቃላት ሰላምን ሓቂን።
