    4እዚኣ ንጉሱ ወርቂ በቀሉ ንኣስተር ነፊኡ፤ ኣስተር ተነሲኣ ብፊት ንንጉስ ቆማት።

    5ኣላመድቲ፣ ንጉስ እንተ ይፈትዎ፣ ብዓይኑ ሞገስ እንተ ረከብኩ፣ እቲ ነገር ብፊት ንንጉስ እንተ ጽድቕ ይመስለዎ እና እኔ ብዓይኑ እንተ ዝደለ፣ ሓማን ወለዶ ሓመዳታ ዓጋጋዊ ዝዕቀበለ መልእኽታት እንዲተለሊሉ ይጽሕፍ፤ እቲ ኣብ ኩሉ ዞባታት ንጉሡ ዘሎ ይሁዳውያን እንዲድምስ ዘጽሓፈ።

    5ንጉስ ኣህሱሮስ መለሰ ንንግስቲ ኣስቴር ኣለ፡ መን እዩ? ኣበይ ኣሎ? እንተዚ ክገብር ብልቡ ድፍረት ዝወሃብ ሰብ መን እዩ?

    7ንጉስ ካብ ፍርሒ ወይን ብመቕጻእ ተነሲኡ ኣብ ጀርዲን ቤት መንግሥቲ ወዲ። ሓማን ደጊሙ ሕይወቱ ንንግስቲ ኣስቴር ንምለመን ቆመ፣ ምክንያቱ ናብ ንሱ ካብ ንጉስ ክፉ ነገር ብዕጽፉ ተወሰነ እዩ እንዳየ ስለ ነበረ።

    8ንጉስ ካብ ጀርዲን ቤት መንግሥቲ መለሰ ኣብ ስፍራ ፍርሒ ወይን፤ ሓማን ኣብ ኣልጋ ዘላት ኣስቴር ተወድቖ ነበረ። ንጉስ ኣለ፡ ኣብ ቤቴ ብዓይነይ ንግስቲ ክዝልዎ ዶ ይፈልጥ? ቃል ካብ ኣፉ ንጉስ እንዳወጸ ፈጺሙ ፊቱ ሓማን ኣሸፈኑ።

    9ሓርቦና ሓደ ካብ ኣገልጋዮ ንጉስ ብፊት ኣለ፡ እወ እዚ ኣብ ቤት ሓማን ዝቆመ ኣምዲ ስቅለት ኣምሳ ኩቢት ርዝመት ዘለዎ እዩ፤ እዚ ሓማን ንሞርዶካይ ዝሰርሐዎ እዩ፣ ሞርዶካይ ስለ ንጉስ ቃል ጽቡቕ ዝተናገረ እዩ። ንጉስ ኣለ፡ ንሱ ላዕለው ስቁልዎ።

    13ኤስቴር ብመልሲ እንዲሕ በለት፡ እንተ ደስ ኣለኻ ንጉሥ፣ ኣብ ሱሳን ዘሎም ይሁዳውያን እንተዘይተወወለ ነበረ ዝሓለፈ ዕለት እንተ ተዛተ ነበረ ጽባሕ ኣይኮነን ንኸውን ከለኻ፣ እቲ ናይ ሐማን ኣስርተ ወዲኦ ኣብ ዓምዲ ክተንጥቁ ክሕኑ ከለኻ።

    14ንጉሥ እቲ እንዳተኣለና ኣዘዘ ተገበረ፤ ሕጉ ኣብ ሱሳን ተሰጊዑ፣ ናይ ሐማን ኣስርተ ወዲኦ ተንጠቐዉሞ።
