ስማዋ ባቤል ተብሎ ተጠሚዑ፤ እዚኣ እግዚኣብሔር ቋንቋ ኩሉ ምድር ኣብዚ ኣርበርበ። ካብዚ ድማ እግዚኣብሔር ኣብ ፊት ኩሉ ምድር ኣበራኸዎም።

    5እግዚኣብሔር ንምርኣይ እቲ ከተማን ሕንጻ ረጅዕን ዝህንጹ ወልዶም ሰብ ወረደ።

    6እዚ እግዚኣብሔር ኣመሰረተ፦ ሕዝቢ ሓደ እዩ እና ኩሉም ሓደ ቋንቋ የለዉ፤ እዚኣ እዚ ጀመርዎ ምግባር። ሕጂ ዝፈለጡ ክገብሩ ኣካል ዘይከለከለ የለን።

    7ና ንሕና ንክውርድ፤ ኣብዚ ቋንቋቶም ንኣርብርብ እንዳ ሓደ ሓደ ንግግር ኣይረድኡን።

    8እንተዛ እግዚኣብሔር ካብዚ ኣብ ፊት ኩሉ ምድር ኣበራኸዎም፤ ከተማ ምህናጽ ተዉ።
