ይህ እግዚአብሔር ያዘዘው ነገር ነው፦ እያንዳንዱ ሰው በመብላቱ መጠን ይሰበስብ፤ ለእያንዳንዱ ሰው አንድ ኦመር፤ በእርስዎ ሰዎች ቍጥር መሠረት፤ እያንዳንዱ ሰው በድንኳኑ ለካሉት ያውስድ።

    33ሙሴም ለአሮን እንዲህ አለው፦ አንድ ጀጮ ውሰድ፤ አንድ ኦመር ሙሉ ማና በውስጡ አኑር ለትውልዳችሁ እንዲጠበቅ በእግዚአብሔር ፊት አስቀምጠው።

    34እግዚአብሔር ሙሴን እንዳዘዘ አሮን ደግሞ እንዲጠበቅ በምስክሩ ፊት አስቀመጠው።

    35የእስራኤል ልጆችም ለአርባ ዓመት ማና በሉ፤ እስከ ሰዎች የሚኖሩባት ምድር እስኪደርሱ ድረስ ማና ይበላሉ ነበር፤ እስከ የከነዓን ምድር ድንበር እስኪደርሱ ድረስ።

    24እንደ ሙሴ እንዳዘዘ እስከ ጠዋት ድረስ አስቀመጡት፤ አልበገሰም፤ አንድም ትል አልነበረበትም።

    25ሙሴም እንዲህ አለ፦ ዛሬ ያ ብሉ፤ ዛሬ ለእግዚአብሔር ሰንበት ነው፤ ዛሬ በሜዳ አታገኙትም።

    26ስድስት ቀን ትሰበስቡታላችሁ፤ ሰባተኛው ቀን ግን ሰንበት ስለሆነ በዚያ አይኖርም።

    27ነገር ግን በሰባተኛው ቀን አንዳንድ ሕዝብ ሊሰበስቡ ወጡ፤ ምንም ግን አላገኙም።
