    22ስለዚህ ጌታ እግዚአብሔር እንዲህ ይላል፤ እነሆ፥ በግብፅ ንጉሥ በፈርዖን ላይ ነኝ፤ ክንዶቹን እሰብራለሁ፥ ኃይለኛውንም እና የተሰበረውንም፤ ሰይፉም ከእጁ እንዲወድቅ አደርጋለሁ።

    23ግብፃውያንን በአሕዛብ መካከል እበትናቸዋለሁ፥ በሀገሮችም ውስጥ እከማቸዋለሁ።

    24የባቢሎን ንጉሥ ክንዶችን አጽናናለሁ፥ ሰይፌንም በእጁ እሰጣለሁ፤ የፈርዖንን ክንዶች ግን አሰብራቸዋለሁ፥ እርሱም እንደ ከባድ ቁስል የተጎዳ ሰው በፊቱ እየጐነጐነ ይሆናል።
