    29ከዚያ የእግዚአብሔር መንፈስ በይፍታህ ላይ መጣ፤ እርሱም ገለዓድንና ማናሴን አሻገረ፥ ደግሞም የገለዓድን ሚጵጣ አሻገረ፤ ከየገለዓድ ሚጵጣም ወደ አሞን ልጆች አሻገረ።

    30ይፍታህም ለእግዚአብሔር ስእለት አለ እንዲህም አለ፦ እርግጥ አሞን ልጆችን በእጄ ብታስረክብ፣

    31ከዚያ በኋላ ከአሞን ልጆች ዘንድ በሰላም ስመለስ ሊቀበለኝ ከቤቴ ደጆች የሚወጣው ማንኛውም ነገር ወይም ሰው ለእግዚአብሔር ይሁን፤ እኔም እሳት ላይ ሙሉ የሚቃጠል መሥዋዕት አደርገው አቀርባለሁ።

    32እንግዲህ ይፍታህ ወደ አሞን ልጆች ሄደ ከእነርሱም ጋር ለመዋጋት፤ እግዚአብሔርም እነርሱን በእጁ አሳልፎ ሰጣቸው።
