    26የዳን ልጆችም መንገዳቸውን ቀጥለው ሄዱ፤ ሚካም ከእርሱ ኃይለኛ እንደሆኑ ባየ ጊዜ ወደ ቤቱ ተመለሰ።

    27እነርሱም ሚካ የሠራቸውን ነገሮችና ካህኑን ይዘው ወደ ላይስ መጡ፤ ዕረፍት ያላቸውና የተረጋጉ ሕዝብን በሰይፍ ዳር መቱአቸው፥ ከተማውንም በእሳት አቃጠሉ።

    28ሲዶን ርቆ ስለነበረና ከማንም ጋር ግንኙነት ስላልነበራቸው መዳኛ አልነበረም፤ ከዚህም በላይ ከቤት-ረሆብ አጠገብ ባለው ሸለቆ ውስጥ ነበረ። ከተማም ሠሩ በእርሷም ተቀመጡ።

    29ከተማውንም ስም ከአባታቸው ከእስራኤል የተወለደው ከዳን ስም የተነሣ ዳን ብለው ጠሩአት፤ ነገር ግን በመጀመሪያ ስሟ ላይስ ነበር።

    30የዳን ልጆችም የተቀረጸውን ምስል አቆመው፤ ዮናታን፣ የጌርሾም ልጅ፣ የሙናሴ ልጅ፣ እርሱና ልጆቹ እስከ ምድሩ በተማረከችበት ቀን ድረስ ለዳን ነገድ ካህናት ሆኑ።

    31የእግዚአብሔር ቤት በሺሎ እስከ ነበረ ዘመን ሁሉ ሚካ የሠራውን የተቀረጸውን ምስል አቆመው ነበር።
