    34እነሆም ሙሉ ከተማው ወጥቶ ኢየሱስን ሊገናኝ መጣ፤ አይተውትም ከዳርቻቸው እንዲሄድ ለመኑት።

    29ምክንያቱም ከሰውየው ላይ ያለውን ርኵስ መንፈስ እንዲወጣ አዝዞት ነበር። ብዙ ጊዜም ይይዘው ነበር፤ በሰንሰለትና በብረት ቁርጭምጭሚ ይሰርሱት ነበር፥ እርሱ ግን ማስሪያዎቹን ይሰብር ነበር፤ በዲያብሎስም ወደ ምድረ በዳ ይነዳ ነበር።

    30ኢየሱስም፦ ስምህ ማን ነው? ብሎ ጠየቀው። እርሱም፦ ሌጅዮን ነው አለ፤ ምክንያቱም ብዙ አጋንንት ገብተውበት ነበር።

    31እነርሱም ወደ ጥልቅ ቦታ እንዲወጡ እንዳይዝዛቸው ለመኑት።

    32በዚያም በተራራ ላይ በማራት ላይ ያለ የእርባኖች ብዙ መንጋ ነበረ፤ ወደ እነርሱ እንዲገቡ እንዲፈቅድ ለመኑት፤ እርሱም ፈቀደላቸው።

    33ከዚያ አጋንንቶቹ ከሰውየው ወጡና ወደ እርባኖቹ ገቡ፤ መንጋውም ግፊት በማድረግ ከከፍታ ወደ ሐይቅ ተወርዶ ገባና ተሰጠመ።

    34የሚራቡት ሰዎች የሆነውን ሲያዩ ፈጥነው ፈቱ፤ ወደ ከተማና ወደ ሜዳም ሄደው ነገሩን ነገሩ።

    35ከዚያ የሆነውን ለማየት ወጡ፤ ወደ ኢየሱስም መጥተው ከእርሱ ላይ አጋንንቶች የወጡበትን ሰው በኢየሱስ እግር ዘንድ ተቀምጦ ልብስ ለብሶ በአእምሮ ጤና እንዳለ አገኙት፤ እነርሱም ፈሩ።
