    7ከዚያ ሄሮድስ ጥበበኞቹን በስይር ጠርቶ ኮከቡ መታየቱ የትኛው ጊዜ እንደሆነ በጥንቃቄ መረመረባቸው።

    8እነርሱንም ወደ ቤተልሔም ልኮ እንዲህ አላቸው፦ ሂዱ፣ ህፃኑን በጥንቃቄ ፈልጉ፤ አግኝታችሁም እንደ ሆነ ወደ እኔ ዜና አስመጡልኝ፥ እኔም መጥቼ እሰግድለት።

    9ንጉሡን ከሰሙ በኋላ ሄዱ፤ እነሆም፥ በምሥራቅ ያዩት ኮከብ በፊታቸው ይመራቸው ሄደ እስኪመጣና ህፃኑ የነበረበት ቦታ ላይ እስኪቆም ድረስ።

    10ኮከቡን ሲያዩ በእጅጉ ታላቅ ደስታ ደስ አላቸው።
