    7ስለዚህ ከነበረችበት ቦታ ወጥታ ሁለቱ የልጆቿ ሚስቶች ከነርሷ ጋር ሄዱ፤ ወደ ይሁዳ ምድር ለመመለስ መንገድ ጀመሩ።

    8ናኦሚም ሁለቱን የልጆቿ ሚስቶች እንዲህ አለቻቸው፦ ሂዱ፤ እያንዳንዳችሁ ወደ እናታችሁ ቤት ተመለሱ። እናንተ ከሞተው ጋርና ከእኔ ጋር እንዳደረጋችሁ እግዚአብሔር ቸርነት ያደርግላችሁ።

    9እግዚአብሔር እያንዳንዳችሁ በባል ቤት ዕረፍት እንድታገኙ ይስጣችሁ። ከዚያም ሳመቻቸው፤ እነርሱም ድምፃቸውን ከፍ አድርገው አለቀሱ።

    10እነርሱም እንዲህ አሉአት፦ በእርግጥ ከአንቺ ጋር ወደ ሕዝብሽ እንመለሳለን።

    11ናኦሚ ግን እንዲህ አለቻቸው፦ ተመለሱ ልጆቼ፤ ከእኔ ጋር ለምን ትሄዳላችሁ? ለእናንተ ባል ይሆኑ ዘንድ በማኅፀቴ ደግሞ ወንዶች ልጆች አሉኝን?

    12ተመለሱ ልጆቼ፤ መንገዳችሁን ሂዱ፤ ለባል ለመግባት እጅግ አረጅቴ ነው። ተስፋ አለኝ ብዬ ብንል፣ እነሆ ዛሬ ሌሊት ባል ብገባ ወንዶች ልጆችም ብወልጵ፣

    13እስኪያድጉ እነርሱን ልትጠብቁ ትቆያላችሁ? ስለእነርሱ ባል እንዳታገቡ ትጠብቃላችሁ? አይደለም ልጆቼ፤ ስለእናንተ ይህ እጅግ ያሳዝነኛል፥ የእግዚአብሔር እጅ በእኔ ላይ ወጥታለችና።

    14እነርሱም ድምፃቸውን ከፍ አድርገው እንደገና አለቀሱ፤ ኦርፓ እናታቸዋን ሳመች፤ ሩት ግን በጠንካራ ተጣበቀችባት።

    5ከዚያ ቦዓዝ በአከራካሪዎች ላይ የተሾመውን ባሪያውን፣ ይህች የማን ወጣት ሴት ናት? አለው።

    6በአከራካሪዎች ላይ የተሾመው ባሪያ መልሶ አለ፣ ከሞዓብ ምድር ከናኦሚ ጋር የተመለሰችው የሞዓባዊት ወጣት ሴት ናት።

    22እንግዲህ ናኦሚ ተመለሰች፤ ከእርሷም ጋር ከሞዓብ አገር የተመለሰች የሞዓብ ሴት የልጇ ሚስት ሩት ነበረች። እነርሱም ወደ ቤተልሔም መጡ ጊዜ የገብስ መከር መጀመሪያ ወቅት ነበር።
