And also bless me.' 33 The Egyptians pressured the people to send them out of the land quickly, for they said, 'We are all going to die!' 34 So the people took their dough before it was leavened, with their kneading bowls wrapped in their clothes and carried on their shoulders. 35 The Israelites did as Moses instructed and asked the Egyptians for articles of silver and gold, and for clothing. 36 The LORD had made the Egyptians favorably disposed toward the people, and they gave them what they asked for; so they plundered the Egyptians. 37 The Israelites journeyed from Rameses to Succoth. There were about six hundred thousand men on foot, besides women and children. 38 A mixed multitude also went up with them, along with flocks, herds, and a great deal of livestock. 39 They baked the dough they had brought out of Egypt into unleavened cakes, for it had not risen because they were driven out of Egypt and could not delay, nor had they prepared any provisions for themselves. 40 Now the time that the Israelites lived in Egypt was four hundred thirty years. 41 At the end of four hundred thirty years, to the very day, all the LORD's hosts came out of the land of Egypt. 42 It is a night to be observed for the LORD, for having brought them out of the land of Egypt. This is the night for the LORD, to be observed by all the Israelites for generations to come. 43 The LORD said to Moses and Aaron: This is the statute of the Passover: No foreigner is to eat of it. 44 But any slave who has been purchased may eat of it after you have circumcised him. 45 A temporary resident or hired servant may not eat of it. 46 It must be eaten in a single house; you are not to take any of the meat outside the house, and you must not break any of its bones. 47 The whole community of Israel must celebrate it. 48 If an alien resides among you and wants to observe the LORD's Passover, every male in his household must be circumcised, and then he may come near to observe it, and he shall be like a native of the land. But no uncircumcised person may eat it. 49 The same law applies to the native-born and to the foreigner residing among you. 50 All the Israelites did just as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron. 51 And on that very day, the LORD brought the Israelites out of the land of Egypt according to their divisions.
