6so then let us not sleep, as do the rest, but let us watch and be sober.

11And this, knowing the season, that already it is time for you to awake out of sleep: for now is salvation nearer to us than when we [first] believed.

28and in nothing affrighted by the adversaries: which is for them an evident token of perdition, but of your salvation, and that from God;

10For to this end we labor and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of them that believe.
6Let no man deceive you with empty words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the sons of disobedience.
9But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak:
