13And for this cause we also thank God without ceasing, that, when ye received from us the word of the message, [even the word] of God, ye accepted [it] not [as] the word of men, but, as it is in truth, the word of God, which also worketh in you that believe.
10But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not found vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
11Whether then [it be] I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.
1For yourselves, brethren, know our entering in unto you, that it hath not been found vain:
20We are ambassadors therefore on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beseech [you] on behalf of Christ, be ye reconciled to God.
58Wherefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not vain in the Lord.
16that ye also be in subjection unto such, and to every one that helpeth in the work and laboreth.
11To which end we also pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfil every desire of goodness and [every] work of faith, with power;
12that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
6But if it is by grace, it is no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace.
1What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
1Now we beseech you, brethren, touching the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together unto him;
6to the praise of the glory of his grace, which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved:
4Did ye suffer so many things in vain? if it be indeed in vain.
6nor seeking glory of men, neither from you nor from others, when we might have claimed authority as apostles of Christ.
5even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace have ye been saved),
15What then? shall we sin, because we are not under law, but under grace? God forbid.
8for by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, [it is] the gift of God;
9not of works, that no man should glory.
2Open your hearts to us: we wronged no man, we corrupted no man, we took advantage of no man.
9And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
10So then, as we have opportunity, let us work that which is good toward all men, and especially toward them that are of the household of the faith.
9For ye remember, brethren, our labor and travail: working night and day, that we might not burden any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God.
8neither did we eat bread for nought at any man's hand, but in labor and travail, working night and day, that we might not burden any of you:
9not because we have not the right, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you, that ye should imitate us.
10For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, If any will not work, neither let him eat.
29whereunto I labor also, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.
9Wherefore also we make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be well-pleasing unto him.
6As therefore ye received Christ Jesus the Lord, [so] walk in him,
6I marvel that ye are so quickly removing from him that called you in the grace of Christ unto a different gospel;
16Let us therefore draw near with boldness unto the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace to help [us] in time of need.
10for God is not unrighteous to forget your work and the love which ye showed toward his name, in that ye ministered unto the saints, and still do minister.
30Now I beseech you, brethren, by our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;
5Now he that wrought us for this very thing is God, who gave unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
1I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beseech you to walk worthily of the calling wherewith ye were called,
6Or I only and Barnabas, have we not a right to forbear working?
6not in the way of eyeservice, as men-pleasers; but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;
7with good will doing service, as unto the Lord, and not unto men:
16holding forth the word of life; that I may have whereof to glory in the day of Christ, that I did not run in vain neither labor in vain.
17For we are not as the many, corrupting the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God, speak we in Christ.
