12For when by reason of the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need again that some one teach you the rudiments of the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of solid food.

21For it were better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

17But thanks be to God, that, whereas ye were servants of sin, ye became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching whereunto ye were delivered;
13but ye know that because of an infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you the first time:
4and that because of the false brethren privily brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:
3For the time past may suffice to have wrought the desire of the Gentiles, and to have walked in lasciviousness, lusts, winebibbings, revellings, carousings, and abominable idolatries:
4wherein they think it strange that ye run not with [them] into the same excess of riot, speaking evil of [you] :
8Take heed lest there shall be any one that maketh spoil of you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ:
17Ye therefore, beloved, knowing [these things] beforehand, beware lest, being carried away with the error of the wicked, ye fall from your own stedfastness.
18and knowest his will, and approvest the things that are excellent, being instructed out of the law,
1Finally then, brethren, we beseech and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that, as ye received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, even as ye do walk,--that ye abound more and more.
2For ye know what charge we gave you through the Lord Jesus.
18knowing that ye were redeemed, not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, from your vain manner of life handed down from your fathers;
14that we may be no longer children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;
14For ye, brethren, became imitators of the churches of God which are in Judaea in Christ Jesus: for ye also suffered the same things of your own countrymen, even as they did of the Jews;
3but if any man loveth God, the same is known by him.
14But abide thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them.
20For when ye were servants of sin, ye were free in regard of righteousness.
21What fruit then had ye at that time in the things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
22But now being made free from sin and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto sanctification, and the end eternal life.
4knowing, brethren beloved of God, your election,
10and have put on the new man, that is being renewed unto knowledge after the image of him that created him:
21Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?
10But thou didst follow my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, patience,
6But now we have been discharged from the law, having died to that wherein we were held; so that we serve in newness of the spirit, and not in oldness of the letter.
7Ye were running well; who hindered you that ye should not obey the truth?
