8Take heed lest there shall be any one that maketh spoil of you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ:
2For ye know what charge we gave you through the Lord Jesus.

4These are the set feasts of Jehovah, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their appointed season.
10Now therefore why make ye trial of God, that ye should put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
17They zealously seek you in no good way; nay, they desire to shut you out, that ye may seek them.
13Come now, ye that say, To-day or to-morrow we will go into this city, and spend a year there, and trade, and get gain:
4For when one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not men?
7wherein ye also once walked, when ye lived in these things;
17Brethren, be ye imitators together of me, and mark them that so walk even as ye have us for an ensample.
2Ye know that when ye were Gentiles [ye were] led away unto those dumb idols, howsoever ye might led.
6Now these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes; that in us ye might learn not [to go] beyond the things which are written; that no one of you be puffed up for the one against the other.
10But thou didst follow my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, patience,
5Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
22And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, [even] of the first-fruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end.
