19Thou wilt say then, Branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.
20Well; by their unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by thy faith. Be not highminded, but fear:

12Now if their fall, is the riches of the world, and their loss the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?

3And reckonest thou this, O man, who judgest them that practise such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
4Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
40Beware therefore, lest that come upon [you] which is spoken in the prophets:
12Take heed, brethren, lest haply there shall be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God:
16His roots shall be dried up beneath, And above shall his branch be cut off.
2Every branch in me that beareth not fruit, he taketh it away: and every [branch] that beareth fruit, he cleanseth it, that it may bear more fruit.

5Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

5For before the harvest, when the blossom is over, and the flower becometh a ripening grape, he will cut off the sprigs with pruning-hooks, and the spreading branches will he take away [and] cut down.
11When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off; the women shall come, and set them on fire; for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have compassion upon them, and he that formed them will show them no favor.
10For thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength; therefore thou plantest pleasant plants, and settest it with strange slips.
31It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
21Yet I had planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed: how then art thou turned into the degenerate branches of a foreign vine unto me?
