5Pharaoh said to Joseph, 'Your father and brothers have come to you.'
6'The land of Egypt is before you. Settle your father and brothers in the best part of the land, in Goshen. And if you know any among them who are capable men, appoint them as overseers of my livestock.'
7Then Joseph brought his father Jacob in and presented him before Pharaoh, and Jacob blessed Pharaoh.
18Then bring your father and your households and come back to me, and I will give you the best of the land of Egypt, and you will eat from the fat of the land.
19You are also instructed to do this: Take wagons from Egypt for your children and your wives, and bring your father and come.
20Do not worry about your belongings, for the best of all the land of Egypt is yours.
21The sons of Israel did as they were told. Joseph gave them wagons as Pharaoh had commanded and provisions for their journey.
8So then, it was not you who sent me here, but God. He made me like a father to Pharaoh, lord over all his household, and a ruler throughout Egypt.
9Hurry and go up to my father and tell him, ‘This is what your son Joseph says: God has made me lord over all Egypt. Come down to me; do not delay.’
10You shall dwell in the land of Goshen and be near me—you, your children, your grandchildren, your flocks, your herds, and everything you have.

55When all Egypt began to feel the famine, the people cried out to Pharaoh for food. Pharaoh told all the Egyptians, 'Go to Joseph and do whatever he tells you.'
24Then Joseph sent his brothers away, and as they left, he said to them, 'Do not quarrel on the way.'
25So they went up from Egypt and came to Canaan to their father Jacob.
4Then Joseph said to his brothers, 'Please come closer to me.' They came closer, and he said, 'I am Joseph, your brother, the one you sold into Egypt.'
28Jacob sent Judah ahead of him to Joseph to get directions to Goshen. When they arrived in the land of Goshen,
12Now his brothers went to pasture their father’s flock near Shechem.
13Israel said to Joseph, "Aren’t your brothers shepherding the flock at Shechem? Go, and I will send you to them." Joseph replied, "Here I am."
6Pharaoh replied, 'Go and bury your father, as he made you swear to do.'
7Joseph went up to bury his father, and all Pharaoh's officials, the elders of his household, and the elders of the land of Egypt went with him.
8Joseph's entire household, his brothers, and his father's household accompanied him. But they left their children, flocks, and cattle in the land of Goshen.
13Tell my father about all the honor that I have in Egypt and everything you have seen. Hurry and bring my father down here.
3Then ten of Joseph's brothers went down to buy grain from Egypt.
16So they sent a message to Joseph, saying, 'Before he died, your father gave this command:
17'This is what you are to say to Joseph: “Please forgive the transgressions of your brothers and their sin, for they treated you so badly.” Now, please forgive the transgressions of the servants of the God of your father.' Joseph wept when they spoke to him.
17The man said, "They have moved on from here, for I heard them say, 'Let us go to Dothan.'" So Joseph went after his brothers and found them in Dothan.
11So Joseph settled his father and brothers, giving them property in the best part of the land in Egypt, in the region of Rameses, as Pharaoh had commanded.
5Then Jacob left Beersheba, and the sons of Israel transported their father Jacob, their children, and their wives in the wagons that Pharaoh had sent to carry him.
17The steward did as Joseph said and brought the men to Joseph's house.
7When Joseph saw his brothers, he recognized them, but he acted as a stranger toward them and spoke harshly to them. He asked, 'Where have you come from?' They answered, 'From the land of Canaan, to buy food.'
