13 On that very day, Noah and his sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, along with Noah's wife and the three wives of his sons, entered the ark.

6 At the end of forty days, Noah opened the window of the ark that he had made.
7 He sent out a raven, and it kept flying back and forth until the waters had dried up from the earth.
8 Then he sent out a dove to see if the waters had receded from the surface of the ground.

20 Then God said, 'Let the waters teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.'
21 So God created the great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters teem, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
12 In it were all kinds of four-footed animals, reptiles, and birds of the air.
10 He waited another seven days and again sent out the dove from the ark.
30 And to all the beasts of the earth, all the birds in the sky, and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.' And it was so.
3 The waters continued to recede from the earth, steadily decreasing, and after one hundred and fifty days, the waters had diminished.
13 In the six hundred and first year, in the first month, on the first day of the month, the waters dried up from the earth. Noah removed the covering of the ark and saw that the surface of the ground was dry.
18 The waters prevailed and increased greatly upon the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the waters.
19 Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground every beast of the field and every bird of the air. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them. Whatever the man called each living creature, that became its name.
