    3 Samson said to them, "This time I cannot be blamed when I harm the Philistines."

    4 So Samson went and caught three hundred foxes. He tied them tail to tail in pairs and fastened a torch to each pair of tails.

    5 Then he lit the torches and released the foxes into the standing grain of the Philistines. He burned up both the shocks of grain and the standing grain, as well as the vineyards and olive groves.
