18 but today you have risen up against my father’s house and killed his seventy sons on one stone, and made Abimelech, the son of his maidservant, king over the leaders of Shechem, because he is your brother—
19 if you have acted faithfully and sincerely toward Jerubbaal and his family today, then rejoice in Abimelech, and let him also rejoice in you.
20 But if not, let fire come out from Abimelech and consume the leaders of Shechem and Beth-Millo, and let fire come out from the leaders of Shechem and Beth-Millo and consume Abimelech.
15 Then David called one of his young men and said, 'Come here and strike him down.' So he struck him, and he died.
38 Then Zebul said to him, "Where now is your boasting, you who said, 'Who is Abimelech, that we should serve him?' Aren’t these the people you despised? Go out now and fight them!"
