10 You counted the houses of Jerusalem and tore down houses to fortify the wall.
3 I said to them, 'The gates of Jerusalem should not be opened until the sun is hot. While the guards are still standing watch, let the gates be shut and secured. Also appoint guards from among the inhabitants of Jerusalem, each at his post and near his own house.'
7 I returned to Jerusalem and understood the evil thing that Eliashib had done for Tobiah by providing him a room in the courts of the house of God.
