5That your faith should not be in the wisdome of men, but in the power of God.
6And we speake wisedome among them that are perfect: not the wisedome of this world, neither of the princes of this world, which come to nought.
7But we speake the wisedome of God in a mysterie, euen the hid wisedom, which God had determined before the world, vnto our glory.
2For hee that speaketh a strange tongue, speaketh not vnto men, but vnto God: for no man heareth him: howbeit in the spirit he speaketh secret things.
17For wee are not as many, which make marchandise of the woorde of God: but as of sinceritie, but as of God in ye sight of God speake we in Christ.
5They are of this worlde, therefore speake they of this world, and this world heareth them.
6We are of God, he that knoweth God, heareth vs: he that is not of God, heareth vs not. Heereby knowe wee the spirit of trueth, and the spirit of errour.
20Brethren, be not children in vnderstanding, but as concerning maliciousnes be children, but in vnderstanding be of a ripe age.

4Now there are diuersities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
6Nowe these things, brethren, I haue figuratiuely applied vnto mine owne selfe and Apollos, for your sakes, that ye might learne by vs, that no man presume aboue that which is written, that one swell not against another for any mans cause.
19For the wisdome of this worlde is foolishnesse with God: for it is written, He catcheth the wise in their owne craftinesse.
1And I could not speake vnto you, brethren, as vnto spirituall men, but as vnto carnall, euen as vnto babes in Christ.
8Hee therefore that despiseth these thinges, despiseth not man, but God who hath euen giuen you his holy Spirit.
2But haue cast from vs ye clokes of shame, and walke not in craftines, neither handle we the worde of God deceitfully: but in declaration of the trueth we approue our selues to euery mans conscience in the sight of God.
12For wee dare not make our selues of the nomber, or to compare our selues to them, which praise themselues: but they vnderstand not that they measure themselues with themselues, and compare themselues with themselues.
3Neuerthelesse, though wee walke in the flesh, yet we doe not warre after the flesh.
8For to one is giuen by the Spirit the word of wisdome: and to an other the word of knowledge, by the same Spirit:
15I speake as vnto them which haue vnderstanding: iugde ye what I say.
16The same Spirit beareth witnesse with our spirit, that we are the children of God.
11But when they leade you, & deliuer you vp, be not carefull before hand, neither studie what ye shall say: but what is giuen you at the same time, that speake: for it is not ye that speake, but the holy Ghost.
13For this cause also thanke we God without ceasing, that when ye receiued the worde of God, which ye heard of vs, ye receiued it not as the worde of men, but as it is in deede the worde of God, which also worketh in you that beleeue.

7Consider what I say: and the Lord giue thee vnderstanding in all things:
15For the holy Ghost also beareth vs record: for after that he had sayd before,
15This wisedome descendeth not from aboue, but is earthly, sensuall, and deuilish.
26Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we knowe not what to pray as wee ought: but the Spirit it selfe maketh request for vs with sighs, which cannot be expressed.
