23Which thinges haue in deede a shewe of wisdome, in voluntarie religion and humblenesse of minde, and in not sparing the body, which are thinges of no valewe, sith they perteine to the filling of the flesh.
6He that obserueth the day, obserueth it to the Lord: and he that obserueth not the day, obserueth it not to the Lorde. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord: for he giueth God thankes: and he that eateth not, eateth not to the Lord, and giueth God thankes.
4Neither filthinesse, neither foolish talking, neither iesting, which are things not comely, but rather giuing of thankes.
5Defraude not one another, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may giue your selues to fasting and praier, and againe come together that Satan tempt you not for your incontinecie.
6But I speake this by permission, not by commandement.

4Concerning therefore the eating of things sacrificed vnto idoles, we knowe that an idole is nothing in the worlde, and that there is none other God but one.
14I know, and am perswaded through the Lord Iesus, that there is nothing vncleane of it selfe: but vnto him that iudgeth any thing to be vncleane, to him it is vncleane.
15But if thy brother be grieued for the meate, nowe walkest thou not charitably: destroy not him with thy meate, for whome Christ dyed.
5Hauing a shewe of godlinesse, but haue denied the power thereof: turne away therefore from such.
2That he hence forward should liue (as much time as remaineth in the flesh) not after the lusts of men, but after the will of God.
11These things warne and teache.
3For this is good & acceptable in the sight of God our Sauiour,
