6I went downe to the bottome of the moutaines: the earth with her barres was about me for euer, yet hast thou brought vp my life from the pit, O Lorde my God.
7When my soule fainted within me, I remembred the Lorde: and my prayer came vnto thee, into thine holy Temple.
4Mine heart trembleth within mee, and the terrours of death are fallen vpon me.
5Feare and trembling are come vpon mee, and an horrible feare hath couered me.
3For my soule is filled with euils, and my life draweth neere to the graue.
6He hath set me in darke places, as they that be dead for euer.
7He hath hedged about mee, that I cannot get out: he hath made my chaines heauy.
13Haue mercie vpon mee, O Lorde: consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate mee, thou that liftest me vp from the gates of death,
10Therefore snares are round about thee, and feare shal suddenly trouble thee:

2I sticke fast in the deepe myre, where no staie is: I am come into deepe waters, and the streames runne ouer me.

6Thou hast layde me in the lowest pit, in darkenes, and in the deepe.

3O Lorde, thou hast brought vp my soule out of the graue: thou hast reuiued me from them that goe downe into the pit.
15Let not the water flood drowne mee, neither let the deepe swallowe me vp: and let not the pit shut her mouth vpon me.
13From aboue hath hee sent fire into my bones, which preuaile against them: he hath spred a net for my feete, and turned me backe: hee hath made me desolate, and daily in heauinesse.
14The yoke of my transgressions is bounde vpon his hand: they are wrapped, and come vp vpon my necke: hee hath made my strength to fall: the Lord hath deliuered me into their hands, neither am I able to rise vp.
10I saide in the cutting off of my dayes, I shall goe to the gates of the graue: I am depriued of the residue of my yeeres.
7But in my tribulation did I call vpon the Lord, and crie to my God, and he did heare my voyce out of his temple, and my crie did enter into his eares.
15Therefore my soule chuseth rather to be strangled and to die, then to be in my bones.
9Keepe me from the snare, which they haue layde for me, and from the grennes of the workers of iniquitie.
12Many yong bulles haue compassed me: mightie bulles of Bashan haue closed me about.
