5Therefore haue I cut downe by the Prophets: I haue slaine them by the wordes of my mouth, and thy iudgements were as the light that goeth forth.

5(14:6) I will be as the dewe vnto Israel: he shall grow as the lilie and fasten his rootes, as the trees of Lebanon.

8He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good, and what the Lord requireth of thee: surely to doe iustly, and to loue mercie, and to humble thy selfe, to walke with thy God.
17Yee haue wearied the Lorde with your woordes: yet yee say, Wherein haue we wearied him? When ye say, Euery one that doeth euill, is good in the sight of the Lorde, and he deliteth in them. Or where is the God of iudgement?
2My doctrine shall drop as the raine, and my speech shal stil as the dew, as the showre vpo the herbes, and as the great raine vpon the grasse.
12O house of Dauid, thus saith the Lorde, Execute iudgement in the morning, and deliuer the oppressed out of the hande of the oppressor, lest my wrath go out like fire and burne, that none can quench it, because of the wickednes of your workes.
1Aske you of the Lord raine in the time of the latter raine: so shall the Lorde make white cloudes, and giue you showers of raine, and to euery one grasse in the field.
20But as a woman rebelleth against her husband: so haue yee rebelled against me, O house of Israel, sayeth the Lord.
3O my people, what haue I done vnto thee? or wherin haue I grieued thee? testifie against me.
9Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel haue I caused to knowe the trueth.
7And also I haue withholden the raine from you, when there were yet three moneths to the haruest, and I caused it to raine vpon one citie, & haue not caused it to raine vpo another citie: one piece was rained vpon, and the piece whereupon it rained not, withered.
6They shall goe with their sheepe, and with their bullockes to seeke the Lorde: but they shall not finde him: for he hath withdrawne himselfe from them.
7Howe should I spare thee for this? Thy children haue forsaken me, and sworne by them that are no gods: though I fed them to the full, yet they committed adulterie, and assembled them selues by companies in the harlots houses.
6Thou hast forsaken me, sayth the Lord, and gone backward: therefore wil I stretch out mine hand against thee, and destroy thee: for I am weary with repenting.
1Heare the worde of the Lord, ye children of Israel: for the Lord hath a controuersie with the inhabitants of the lande, because there is no trueth nor mercie nor knowledge of God in the lande.
19Thine owne wickednes shal correct thee, and thy turnings backe shal reprooue thee: know therefore and beholde, that it is an euil thing, and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the Lord thy God, and that my feare is not in thee, sayeth the Lorde God of hostes.
2Goe, and crie in the eares of Ierusalem, saying, Thus sayeth the Lord, I remember thee, with the kindenes of thy youth and the loue of thy marriage, when thou wentest after me in the wildernes in a lande that was not sowen.
1(14:2) O Israel, returne vnto the Lord thy God: for thou hast fallen by thine iniquitie.
6Then the Lord saide vnto me, Cry all these words in the cities of Iudah, and in the streetes of Ierusalem, saying, Heare yee the words of this couenant, and doe them.
6Therefore turne thou to thy God: keepe mercy and iudgement, and hope still in thy God.
5Thus sayeth the Lord, What iniquitie haue your fathers founde in mee, that they are gone farre from mee, and haue walked after vanitie, and are become vaine?
2The Lorde hath also a controuersie with Iudah, and will visite Iaakob, according to his waies: according to his workes, wil he recompence him.
3Therefore the showres haue beene restrained, and the latter raine came not, and thou haddest a whores forehead: thou wouldest not bee ashamed.
20Is Ephraim my deare sonne or pleasant childe? yet since I spake vnto him, I still remembred him: therefore my bowels are troubled for him: I wil surely haue compassion vpon him, saith the Lorde.
7They turne iudgement to wormewood, and leaue off righteousnes in the earth.
16Ephraim is smitten, their roote is dried vp: they can bring no fruite: yea, though they bring foorth, yet will I slaie euen the dearest of their bodie.
15Though he grewe vp among his brethren, an East winde shall come, euen the winde of the Lord shal come vp from the wildernesse, and drie vp his veine, and his fountaine shalbe dryed vp: he shal spoyle the treasure of all pleasant vessels.
15So shall Beth-el doe vnto you, because of your malicious wickednes: in a morning shall the King of Israel be destroied.
14I also wil giue raine vnto your land in due time, the first raine & the latter, that thou maist gather in thy wheat, and thy wine, & thine oyle.
27Why sayest thou, O Iaakob, and speakest O Israel, My way is hid from the Lorde, and my iudgement is passed ouer of my God?
16And I will declare vnto them my iudgements touching all the wickednesse of them that haue forsaken me, and haue burnt incense vnto other gods, and worshipped the workes of their owne handes.
4Thus saith the Lorde, For three transgressions of Iudah, and for foure, I will not turne to it, because they haue cast away the Lawe of the Lorde, and haue not kept his commandementes, and their lies caused them to erre after the which their fathers haue walked.
11Yea, Iudah hath set a plant for thee, whiles I woulde returne ye captiuitie of my people.
23Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and reioyce in the Lorde your God: for he hath giuen you the rayne of righteousnes, he wil cause to come downe for you the rayne, euen the first raine, and the latter raine in the first moneth.
10And when thou shalt shewe this people all these wordes, & they shal say vnto thee, Wherefore hath the Lorde pronounced all this great plague against vs? or what is our iniquitie? and what is our sinne that we haue committed against the Lord our God?
31O generation, take heede to the worde of the Lorde: haue I bene as a wildernesse vnto Israel? or a lande of darkenesse? Wherefore sayeth my people then, We are lordes, we will come no more vnto thee?
14For I will be vnto Ephraim as a lyon, and as a lyons whelpe to the house of Iudah: I, euen I will spoyle, and goe away: I will take away, and none shall rescue it.
