21 Hath not the potter power of the clay to make of the same lumpe one vessell to honour, and another vnto dishonour?
2 Arise, and go downe into the potters house, and there shall I shewe thee my words.
3 Then I went downe to the potters house, & behold, he wrought a worke on the wheeles.
4 And the vessell that he made of clay, was broken in the hand of the potter. so he returned, and made it another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
5 Then the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
6 O house of Israel, cannot I doe with you as this potter, sayth the Lord? beholde, as the clay is in the potters hande, so are you in mine hande, O house of Israel.
8 But now, O Lord, thou art our Father: we are the clay, and thou art our potter, and we all are the worke of thine hands.
16 Beholde, I haue created the smith that bloweth the coales in the fire, and him that bringeth forth an instrument for his worke, & I haue created the destroyer to destroy.
50 Hath not mine hand made all these things?
15 Shall the axe boast it selfe against him that heweth therewith? or shall the sawe exalt it selfe against him that moueth it? as if the rod shoulde lift vp it selfe against him that taketh it vp, or the staffe should exalt it selfe, as it were no wood.

9 Remeber, I pray thee, that thou hast made me as the clay, and wilt thou bring me into dust againe?
14 And the breaking thereof is like the breaking of a potters pot, which is broken without pitie, and in the breaking thereof is not found a sheard to take fire out of the hearth, or to take water out of the pit.

12 The smith taketh an instrument, and worketh in the coles, and facioneth it with hammers, and worketh it with the strength of his armes: yea, he is an hungred, and his strength faileth: he drinketh no water, and is faint.

25 Hast thou not heard, howe I haue of olde time made it, and haue formed it long ago? & should I nowe bring it, that it should be destroyed, & laid on ruinous heapes, as cities defensed?
4 Yet let none rebuke, nor reproue another: for thy people are as they that rebuke the Priest.
4 And I said, I haue labored in vaine: I haue spent my strength in vaine and for nothing: but my iudgement is with the Lorde, and my woorke with my God.
24 Thus sayeth the Lord thy redeemer and he that formed thee from the wombe, I am the Lord, that made all things, that spred out the heauens alone, and stretched out the earth by my selfe.
8 Ye heauens, send the dewe from aboue, and let the cloudes droppe downe righteousnesse: let the earth open, and let saluation and iustice growe foorth: let it bring them foorth together: I the Lord haue created him.
