22Also in Taberah, & in Massah and in Kibrothhattaauah ye prouoked ye Lord to anger.
23Likewise when the Lord sent you from Kadesh-barnea, saying, Goe vp, and possesse the land which I haue giuen you, then ye rebelled against the commandement of the Lord your God, and beleeued him not, nor hearkened vnto his voyce.
7And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
8Take the rod, and gather thou & thy brother Aaron the Congregation together, & speake yee vnto the rocke before their eyes, and it shall giue foorth his water, and thou shalt bring them water out of the rocke: so thou shalt giue the Congregation, and their beastes drinke.
9Then Moses tooke the rod from before the Lord, as he had commanded him.
10And Moses and Aaron gathered the Congregation together before the rocke, and Moses sayd vnto them, Heare nowe, ye rebels: shall we bring you water out of this rocke?
11Then Moses lift vp his hande, and with his rod he smote the rocke twise, and the water came out aboundantly: so the Congregation, and their beastes dranke.
16Because the Lord was not able to bring this people into the lande, which he sware vnto them, therefore hath he slaine them in the wildernesse.
32Yet for all this ye did not beleeue the Lord your God,

41But Moses said, Wherefore transgresse yee thus the commandement of the Lorde? it will not so come well to passe.
22For all those men which haue seene my glory, and my miracles which I did in Egypt, and in the wildernes, and haue tempted me this ten times, and haue not obeyed my voyce,
23Certainely they shall not see the lande, whereof I sware vnto their fathers: neither shall any that prouoke me, see it.
26But the Lord was angrie with me for your sakes, and would not heare me: and the Lord said vnto me, Let it suffice thee, speake no more vnto me of this matter.
26After, the Lorde spake vnto Moses and to Aaron, saying,
27How long shall I suffer this wicked multitude to murmure against me? I haue heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmure against me.
6Behold, I will stand there before thee vpon the rocke in Horeb, and thou shalt smite on the rocke, and water shall come out of it, that the people may drinke; Moses did so in the sight of the Elders of Israel.
7And he called the name of the place, Massah and Meribah, because of the contention of the children of Israel, and because they had tempted the Lorde, saying, Is the Lorde among vs, or no?
1Then Moses answered, and said, But lo, they will not beleeue me, nor hearken vnto my voyce: for they will say, The Lorde hath not appeared vnto thee.
30Ye shall not doubtles come into the land, for the which I lifted vp mine hande, to make you dwell therein, saue Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh, and Ioshua the sonne of Nun.
2But there was no water for the Congregation, and they assembled them selues against Moses and against Aaron.
21And the Lord was angrie with me for your words, and sware that I should not goe ouer Iorden, and that I should not goe in vnto that good land, which the Lord thy God giueth thee for an inheritance.
2Wherefore the people contended with Moses, and sayde, Giue vs water that we may drinke; Moses sayde vnto them, Why contende yee with me? wherefore do ye tempt the Lord?
41But on the morowe all the multitude of the children of Israel murmured against Moses & against Aaron, saying, Ye haue killed the people of the Lord.
24Also they contemned that pleasant land, and beleeued not his worde,
15Yet neuerthelesse, I lift vp mine hande vnto them in the wildernes that I would not bring them into the lande, which I had giuen them, flowing with milke and hony, which was pleasant aboue all landes,
17But with whome was he displeased fourtie yeeres? Was hee not displeased with them that sinned, whose carkeises fell in the wildernes?
18And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but vnto them that obeyed not?
26Notwithstanding, ye would not go vp, but were disobedient vnto the commaundement of the Lord your God,
20And the Lorde spake vnto Moses and to Aaron, saying,
18Ye also are turned away this day from the Lord: and seeing ye rebell to day against ye Lord, euen to morowe he will be wroth with all the Congregation of Israel.
10Then the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
6For the children of Israel walked fourtie yeres in the wildernes, till all the people of the men of warre that came out of Egypt were consumed, because they obeyed not the voyce of the Lord: vnto whome the Lord sware, that he would not shewe them the lande, which the Lorde had sworne vnto their fathers, that he would giue vs, euen a land that floweth with milke and hony.
22Because they beleeued not in God, and trusted not in his helpe.
43And when I told you, ye would not heare, but rebelled against the commaundement of the Lord, and were presumptuous, and went vp into the mountaine.
23And Moses sayde vnto the Lord, The people can not come vp into the mount Sinai: for thou hast charged vs, saying, Set markes on the mountaine, and sanctifie it.
15Then Moses waxed verie angry, and saide vnto the Lord, Looke not vnto their offring: I haue not taken so much as an asse from them, neither haue I hurt any of them.
5Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assemblie of the Congregation of the children of Israel.
