1

A Psalm of Asaph. God standeth{H8737)} in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth{H8799)} among the gods.

2

How long will ye judge{H8799)} unjustly, and accept{H8799)} the persons of the wicked? Selah.

3

Defend{H8798)} the poor and fatherless: do justice{H8685)} to the afflicted and needy{H8802)}.

4

Deliver{H8761)} the poor and needy: rid{H8685)} them out of the hand of the wicked.

5

They know{H8804)} not, neither will they understand{H8799)}; they walk{H8691)} on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course{H8735)}.

6

I have said{H8804)}, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

7

But ye shall die{H8799)} like men, and fall{H8799)} like one of the princes.

8

Arise{H8798)}, O God, judge{H8798)} the earth: for thou shalt inherit{H8799)} all nations.
