To the chief Musician{H8764)} upon Gittith, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!
My soul longeth{H8738)}, yea, even fainteth{H8804)} for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out{H8762)} for the living God.
Yea, the sparrow hath found{H8804)} an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay{H8804)} her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.
Blessed are they that dwell{H8802)} in thy house: they will be still praising{H8762)} thee. Selah.
Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.
Who passing{H8802)} through the valley of Baca{H8676)} make{H8799)} it a well; the rain also filleth{H8799)} the pools.
They go{H8799)} from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth{H8735)} before God.
O LORD God of hosts, hear{H8798)} my prayer: give ear{H8685)}, O God of Jacob. Selah.
Behold{H8798)}, O God our shield, and look{H8685)} upon the face of thine anointed.
For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather{H8804)} be a doorkeeper{H8705)} in the house of my God, than to dwell{H8800)} in the tents of wickedness.
For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give{H8799)} grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold{H8799)} from them that walk{H8802)} uprightly.
O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth{H8802)} in thee.
