David inquired of God, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hand? And the LORD said to him, Go up; for I will deliver them into your hand.

49David put his hand in his bag, took a stone, slung it, and struck the Philistine in the forehead, and the stone sank into his forehead, and he fell on his face to the earth.
50Thus David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone and struck the Philistine, and killed him. There was no sword in David's hand.
11So they came up to Baalperazim, and David defeated them there. Then David said, God has broken through my enemies by my hand like the breaking of waters. Therefore they called the name of that place Baalperazim.

25And David did so, as the LORD had commanded him, and struck the Philistines from Geba until you come to Gezer.
10Then David said, O LORD God of Israel, your servant has certainly heard that Saul seeks to come to Keilah, to destroy the city for my sake.
11Will the men of Keilah deliver me into his hand? Will Saul come down, as your servant has heard? O LORD God of Israel, I beg you, tell your servant. And the LORD said, He will come down.
12Then David said, Will the men of Keilah deliver me and my men into the hand of Saul? And the LORD said, They will deliver you up.
8And David inquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And He answered him, Pursue: for you shall surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.
37Saul inquired of God, "Shall I go down after the Philistines? Will You deliver them into the hand of Israel?" But He did not answer him that day.
32David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; your servant will go and fight with this Philistine.

9And Achish answered and said to David, I know that you are good in my sight, like an angel of God; notwithstanding, the princes of the Philistines have said, He shall not go up with us to the battle.
15And David said to him, Can you bring me down to this company? And he said, Swear to me by God, that you will neither kill me, nor deliver me into the hands of my master, and I will bring you down to this company.
8And there was war again; and David went out, and fought with the Philistines, and killed them with a great slaughter; and they fled from him.
20David rose early in the morning, left the sheep with a keeper, took the provisions, and went as Jesse had commanded him; he came to the camp as the army was going out to the fight and shouting for battle.
10He arose and struck down the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand stuck to the sword: and the LORD wrought a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to plunder.
10David said furthermore, "As the LORD lives, the LORD will strike him, or his day will come to die, or he shall go down into battle and perish."
1And David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul. There is nothing better for me than that I should quickly escape into the land of the Philistines; then Saul will despair of me, to seek me any longer in any territory of Israel. Thus I will escape out of his hand.
