33 After this, Jeroboam did not turn from his evil way, but made again from among all the people priests of the high places: whoever desired, he consecrated him, and he became one of the priests of the high places.
34 And this thing became sin to the house of Jeroboam, to cut it off and to destroy it from off the face of the earth.
3 Speak to Rehoboam the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and to all Israel in Judah and Benjamin, saying,
7 Go, tell Jeroboam, Thus says the LORD God of Israel, Because I exalted you from among the people, and made you prince over my people Israel,
26 And these are those who conspired against him: Zabad the son of Shimeath an Ammonitess, and Jehozabad the son of Shimrith a Moabitess.

23 And God stirred up another adversary, Rezon the son of Eliadah, who fled from his lord Hadadezer king of Zobah.
4 And Jeroboam's wife did so, and arose, and went to Shiloh, and came to the house of Ahijah. But Ahijah could not see; for his eyes were dim because of his age.
14 And the LORD stirred up an adversary to Solomon, Hadad the Edomite: he was of the royal lineage in Edom.
23 In the fifteenth year of Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah, Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel began to reign in Samaria, and reigned forty-one years.
24 And he did evil in the sight of the LORD: he did not depart from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel sin.
1 And, behold, a man of God came out of Judah by the word of the LORD to Bethel: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense.
25 And King Solomon sent by the hand of Benaiah the son of Jehoiada; and he fell upon him and he died.
30 And there was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all their days.
15 So the king did not listen to the people, for the cause was of God, that the LORD might fulfill his word, which he spoke by the hand of Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
22 And King Solomon answered and said to his mother, And why do you ask Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? Ask for him the kingdom also; for he is my elder brother—for him, and for Abiathar the priest, and for Joab the son of Zeruiah.

46 So the king commanded Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and he went out and struck him down and he died. And the kingdom was firmly established in the hand of Solomon.
