9For so was it commanded me by the word of the LORD, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor return by the same way that you came.
6And Elijah said to him, Stay here, I pray you; for the LORD has sent me to Jordan. And he said, As the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you. And they both went on.
7And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went and stood far off: and they two stood by Jordan.
8And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and struck the waters, and they were divided here and there, so that they two went over on dry ground.
13He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan;

41And Elijah said to Ahab, Get up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.
42So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees,
35And the water ran around the altar; and he filled the trench also with water.
4Take the belt that you have got, which is around your waist, and arise, go to the Euphrates, and hide it there in a hole in the rock.

2And Elijah said to Elisha, Stay here, I pray you; for the LORD has sent me to Bethel. And Elisha said to him, As the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you. So they went down to Bethel.
