Now therefore send, and gather to me all Israel to mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves four hundred, who eat at Jezebel's table.

    22And he said to him that was over the wardrobe, Bring out garments for all the worshippers of Baal. And he brought out garments for them.

    23And Jehu went, and Jehonadab the son of Rechab, into the house of Baal, and said to the worshippers of Baal, Search and see that none of the servants of the LORD are here with you, but only the worshippers of Baal.

  • 2And after some years he went down to Ahab in Samaria. And Ahab killed sheep and oxen for him in abundance, and for the people with him, and persuaded him to go up with him to Ramoth-gilead.

  • 4But what is God's answer to him? I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
