27 For by the last words of David the Levites were numbered from twenty years old and above:
24 And the chief of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren opposite them, to praise and to give thanks, according to the commandment of David the man of God, group by group.
12 And the men did the work faithfully: and the overseers of them were Jahath and Obadiah, the Levites, of the sons of Merari; and Zechariah and Meshullam, of the sons of the Kohathites, to set it forward; and other of the Levites, all who were skilled in instruments of music.
14 And the Levites shall speak, and say to all the men of Israel with a loud voice,
19 So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were appointed to sound with cymbals of brass;
6 All these were under the direction of their father for song in the house of the LORD, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God, according to the king's order to Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.
