And the LORD said to Jehu, Because you have done well in executing what is right in my eyes, and have done to the house of Ahab according to all that was in my heart, your children of the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.

16 So Jehu rode in a chariot, and went to Jezreel; for Joram lay there. And Ahaziah king of Judah had come down to see Joram.

8 And tore the kingdom away from the house of David, and gave it to you: yet you have not been like my servant David, who kept my commandments, and who followed me with all his heart, to do only that which was right in my eyes;
13 Jehu met with the brothers of Ahaziah king of Judah, and said, Who are you? And they answered, We are the brothers of Ahaziah; and we go down to greet the children of the king and the children of the queen.

14 Moreover the LORD shall raise up a king over Israel, who shall cut off the house of Jeroboam that day: but what? even now.
2 He did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, and followed the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel sin; he did not depart from them.
4 For if you do this thing indeed, then shall enter in by the gates of this house kings sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, he, and his servants, and his people.
