8So the Levites and all Judah did according to all things that Jehoiada the priest had commanded, and took each man his men that were to come in on the Sabbath, with those that were to go out on the Sabbath: for Jehoiada the priest did not dismiss the divisions.
2That I gave my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the ruler of the palace, charge over Jerusalem: for he was a faithful man and feared God above many.
3And I said to them, Do not let the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun is hot; and while they are standing by, let them shut and bar the doors: and appoint watches of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one in his watch, and every one opposite his house.

22Neither carry forth a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, neither do any work, but hallow the sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers.
19So it was, at the gates of Jerusalem as it began to be dark before the Sabbath, that I commanded the gates to be shut, and charged that they should not be opened till after the Sabbath. Then I stationed some of my servants at the gates, so that no burdens would be brought in on the Sabbath day.
10And he set all the people, every man having his weapon in his hand, from the right side of the temple to the left side of the temple, along by the altar and the temple, around the king.
29Guard and keep them, until you weigh them before the chief priests and the Levites, and chief of the fathers of Israel, at Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of the LORD.
6I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem, who shall never be silent day or night: you who remind the LORD, do not keep silent,
16And it came to pass from that time on, that half of my servants did the work, and the other half held the spears, the shields, the bows, and the armor; and the leaders stood behind all the house of Judah.

35Therefore, you shall abide at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night for seven days and keep the charge of the LORD, lest you die; for so I am commanded.

7The Lord has cast off His altar, He has abhorred His sanctuary, He has given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have made a noise in the house of the Lord, as in the day of a solemn feast.
14And he appointed, according to the order of David his father, the courses of the priests to their service, and the Levites to their tasks, to praise and minister before the priests, as the duty of every day required: the porters also by their courses at every gate: for so David the man of God had commanded.
8And he uncovered the covering of Judah, and you looked in that day to the armor of the house of the forest.
5He shall recount his nobles: they shall stumble in their walk; they shall make haste to the wall thereof, and the defense shall be prepared.
27But if you will not listen to me to hallow the sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.
