6But now that Timothy has come to us from you, and brought us good news of your faith and love, and that you have good remembrance of us always, longing to see us, as we also to see you:
2You are our letter written in our hearts, known and read by all men.
15Nevertheless, brethren, I have written to you more boldly in part, to remind you, because of the grace given to me by God,
14These things I write to you, hoping to come to you shortly;
3Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you, exhorting you to earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered to the saints.
15And in this confidence, I intended to come to you before, that you might have a second benefit;
1This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established.
2I told you before, and foretell now, as if I were present the second time; and being absent now I write to those who have sinned in the past, and to all others, that if I come again, I will not spare:
8Therefore I urge you to confirm your love toward him.
13For we write no other things to you than what you read or acknowledge; and I trust you shall acknowledge even to the end;
5Do you not remember that, when I was still with you, I told you these things?
17For this reason I have sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved son and faithful in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach everywhere in every church.
3As I urged you to remain in Ephesus when I went into Macedonia, that you might instruct some that they teach no other doctrine,

2Grace and peace be multiplied to you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,

15Therefore, brothers, stand fast, and hold the traditions which you have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
2Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.

13To the end He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.
22And I urge you, brethren, bear with the word of exhortation, for I have written to you in few words.
1Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
17Comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good word and work.
19But I urge you all the more to do this, that I may be restored to you sooner.
