5 For this reason, when I could no longer endure it, I sent to know about your faith, lest by some means the tempter had tempted you, and our labor might be in vain.
6 But now that Timothy has come to us from you, and brought us good news of your faith and love, and that you have good remembrance of us always, longing to see us, as we also to see you:
7 Therefore, brothers, we were comforted concerning you in all our affliction and distress by your faith:
5 May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patient waiting for Christ.
4 Knowing, beloved brothers, your election by God.
5 For our gospel came to you not in word only, but also in power, in the Holy Spirit, and in full conviction; as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake.
10 For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
11 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end,
21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
9 For you remember, brothers, our labor and toil: for working night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you, we preached to you the gospel of God.
10 You are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and blamelessly we behaved ourselves among you who believe:
16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, who has loved us, and has given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
17 Comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good word and work.
9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;
5 Beloved, you do faithfully whatever you do for the brethren and for strangers;
3 I thank God, whom I serve from my ancestors with a pure conscience, that without ceasing I remember you in my prayers night and day;
13 For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectively works also in you who believe.
5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;

21 Who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
9 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
7 So that you come short in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:
4 I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;
3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from evil.

5 When I call to remembrance the sincere faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois, and your mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that it is in you also.
