    29And Abner and his men walked all that night through the plain, crossed over Jordan, and went through all Bithron, and came to Mahanaim.

    30And Joab returned from pursuing Abner: and when he had gathered all the people together, nineteen of David's servants and Asahel were missing.

    23When Joab and all the host that was with him had come, they told Joab, saying, Abner the son of Ner came to the king, and he has sent him away, and he is gone in peace.

    24Then Joab came to the king and said, What have you done? Behold, Abner came to you; why is it that you have sent him away, and he is quite gone?
