    49David put his hand in his bag, took a stone, slung it, and struck the Philistine in the forehead, and the stone sank into his forehead, and he fell on his face to the earth.

    50Thus David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone and struck the Philistine, and killed him. There was no sword in David's hand.

    14David inquired again of God; and God said to him, Do not go up after them; turn away from them and come upon them opposite the mulberry trees.

    15And it shall be, when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry trees, then go out to battle, for God has gone ahead of you to strike the Philistine army.

    16David therefore did as God commanded him, and they struck down the Philistine army from Gibeon to Gezer.
