1 Since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind: for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin;
2 That he should no longer live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
14 As obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts in your ignorance;
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
6 Knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that we should no longer be slaves to sin.
24 And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
21 I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
